Last week we had the privilege to meet with our new social worker, and wrap up our Home Study interview for BabyG#2!

Having been through the Home Study before, it was a lot more relaxed and enjoyable for Brooke and I. My favorite part about the entire night was hearing that our first adoption story was well known at Bethany. We think our story is pretty great, but to hear that others at the agency were following along, and knew about what God did the first time around was just special.

We did our questionnaires, answered all the hard hitting questions, and Brynlee distracted us with her adorable show and tell, all in all a great night.

Now we just have to wait for Brooke’s background check to come back, there was a problem the first time around with her fingerprints, but we are hoping they take less time then the first time around. It took nearly 10 weeks for our FBI background check to come back!

Once that comes in and our home study is approved, we will get our “Book” made that is shown to birth families, and then lookout world, we will be on the list.

I want to thank you all for your love, support and prayers. Adoption isn’t an easy process for many reasons, but it is the most rewarding thing we’ve ever done.
